Unibase Memory Extension Updates: DeepSeek Support Is Now Live
A million tokens in one conversation. Nothing in the next.
DeepSeek now runs on a one million token window by default. One chat can hold an entire project: the spec, the constraints, three days of back and forth.
Open a new chat and none of it comes with you. No saved memories, no standing instructions, nothing from yesterday.
Fine for a quick question. Not fine when the work runs across sessions and you are explaining your project, your process and your constraints one more time.
Unibase Memory now supports DeepSeek
Unibase Memory is a Chrome extension that keeps one searchable memory across the AI tools you use. It syncs your conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Kimi and now DeepSeek, along with any web page you save, and keeps all of it in one place in your browser. You can search it, tag it, star it, and pull from it whenever you need it.
Two things change with this update. Your DeepSeek conversations are captured like the rest. And everything you already built up elsewhere can now be searched and sent into a DeepSeek chat.
What goes in is your choice. Not the whole thread, just the part that fits the task in front of you: what you decided, what did not work, the constraints that matter, and where you left off. It lands in the input box, so you can adjust it before you submit.
Three moments this is actually for
The steps are the same every time. What changes is what you send.
1. It finally worked. Then you moved it.
You tuned it over days. The constraints got argued out, the output was finally right. Then you fed it into a new window and it came back wrong.
Send the messages where the rules got settled. Not the whole thread, and not a summary of it. The exact exchanges where you said do it this way and not that way.
2. Day two. You explain the project, the process, the constraints. Again.
A thread ends, or you just come back tomorrow. DeepSeek opens clean either way.
Send the current state and the constraints. Where you stopped, what is already decided, what the next step was meant to be.
3. You know the answer exists. You cannot find the chat.
Somewhere in the last two months, one of them gave you exactly what you needed. You just cannot remember which one, or when.
Search by what was said instead of by which chat it was in. Pages you saved off the web are in the same search. Send that one answer and nothing else.
Add to Chrome
- Free, and no account needed to start. Sign in with email, X, or a wallet when you want it on more than one device.
- Your chats stay on your computer. Sync is optional, and anything you sync is locked with a key only your browser has. We do not have it.
- It only captures on the AI sites it supports. Everywhere else it does nothing unless you click save.
- Export everything as a file any time.
The chat is where you think. It should not be where you store. You came to DeepSeek for a reason. You will move again when something better shows up. What should not happen is starting from scratch every time.
